Wooh last day in New York City!! Rather sad...butttttt what a wonderful excuse to FINALLY start blogging about my.....adventures!!
I might have to start going backwards...but I'll just tell you about today anyways (:
SO TODAYYYYY I went on 2 go sees. The first was a very...uptight modeling angency. We were told that if they said nothing, then we were to leave. But if they asked us to wait in the kitchen, then they were further interested.
So they told me to walk, say my name, age and height...welll I did and then the lady with the extremely thick french accent asked me something that sounded like this: "do you gain weight in the kitchen"
So I replied, "oh no, I'm a dancer I eat well!!! But I DO gain muscle in the gym :)"
She looked at me cross eyed and told me to GO to the kitchen....where I had a lovely chat with my new friend Coraline (yeah...like the movie- _-) from paris who is in school here in NYC! Needless to say, I left a wonderful GOOFBALL affect in their office on Park Ave....
Also, while I was talking to a new booker of mine, he asked if I would model furs, swimwear, lingere, ect. My mother told him that furs are fine...we're from georgia! We even like GUNS!! And that I got a pink one from my birthday! Then he asked about DOGS! I just laughed and told him that I loved dogs! My parents used to breed rottweilers for heavens sake!! Then he said "rottweilers....pink guns....this is a tough family. Aint no boys coming around your house huh??"
I just smiled and said of COURSE not! If I couldn't take em on, that I could at LEAST outshoot and outspit them all. He didn't think I was being serious....ha ha ha
Anoooother memorable story from today is that we had a little FLY in our car. (Yeah, the south isn't the only place infested huh?)
I was totally and completely unaware of the little fellas presence, so when my Mother (now titled 'hoot' 'crazy' and 'joyful' by numerous new NYC acquaintances) begins to flail at the windshield, I was pretty confused...as usual.
when I figured it out, I handed her the closest thing to swat the sucker out the window!! That only happened to be the bottom to my bikini....so while we were completely focused on the fly, I later realized that the people standing on the streets were just starring at us...flailing around what probably appeared to be a pair of black panties.
Well as I'm writing this I am THOROUGHLY enjoying my very first new york pretzel....actually my very first preztel ever...I've always been so darn picky!!
And now we're off to Chester NJ to visit to our 5 times great grandparents graves....bye bye New York city:(
