If you don't know me very well, I'd like to share something with you that I think you should know...If you hear me getting quiet, we're in trouble!! (take warning, if I look quiet...slap me or something!) Because if I'm absolutely quiet, it means I'm thinking about something veeery seriously....and that's no good. Now, it may be something quite ridiculous that I'm being so serious about! Like what order I'm going to layer eye shadow for that one look I've been thinking of.....or what oranges and chocolate would taste like....but whatever it is, it is most likely 100% UNNECESSARY!!! But then, don't we all do that? How many times a day do you stress your mind out over something that you really shouldn't be giving that 2nd thought too? I wish everyone didn't take everything here so seriously! After all, if you have God what should little old you possibly be worrying about!!
"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"
Life is so much easier on the heart and mind when you just breathe in, breathe out, close your eyes and let the Lord lead you down HIS path for you!! All you just have to sit back and be his vessel! Isn't that incredible? So why overthink things? Step back from your head for a minute and just look at the big picture....stressing over the little things seems pretty pointless now doesn't it?
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
Now that's a PROMISE!! See? Just have fun, love, and enjoy your time on Gods earth....why not? He put us here to love! He has a purpose for each of us...just let God do his job and work with the grain! You have no idea how much easier it is! So live your precious life with wisdom and a sound mind, but be carefree....do what makes you happy!! Please, for the love of ice cream.
And now I'm going to share with you a story about one of the things that makes me happy!!
Friday I was at a wonderful on location photoshoot...right next to our location was a building project. There were working men everywhere right next to where we were shooting!! And once when I was shooting, I absolutely lost it....this is what happened.
There I was, in a beautiful dress that did not exactly fit into something to the class of something I would wear to a funeral.....and I was just doing what I do and we were getting some great shots!! The photographer and I were running from scene to scene totally getting in to it when all of a sudden I stopped, looked up and saw about 8 or 9 men in hard hats with their hands on their hips looking oh so productive. I was absolutely thrown out of character because they just looked so...well.....ridiculous!! I couldn't help from laughing...there we were, just having us a photoshoot....stylist, designer, models, make up, family....and there THEY were, hard hat wearing man, hard hat wearing man, hard hat wearing man....just standing there watching me in front of the camera. needless to say, it just might have been the funniest thing I've ever seen.
And now I'm off to go sleep some more.....today I've had TWO naps!! ...AFTER a 13 hours of sleep before!! And let me tell you do I feel taller already! HAH!
